Daddy's girl

Livi LOVES her daddy!  Once he gets home from work she doesn't want anything to do with me, she just wants her daddy.  She loves it when he pushes her in the swing, she loves to grab his hair and play with his face!  I'm pretty sure she knows to call him dada, as soon as she sees him she starts screaming dada.  It is too cute! The other day she was grumpy and Jose's way of fixing it was moving her jumparoo onto the counter!  I saw this quote on pinterest "I never knew how much I loved your dad until I saw how much he loves you."  It pretty much sums up exactly how I feel.

I love fall

After church we decided to take one more drive uo the canyon to see all the pretty leaves.  Most of the leaves had already fallen, but it was still pretty, and we had fun looking at the fish.  When we came home we decided to carve our pumpkins.  I had already started on my heart pumkin when Jose decided to do a Utah pumpkin.  I wish I would have done a BYU one, but oh well.  Jose's pumpkin put mine to shame.

8 Months old

Livi finally got her first tooth, and I'm hoping she doesn't get another one for a while!  She was definitely not a happy girl!  It's so hard for me to see her in pain.  She is pretty much crawling now, and it has made life a lot crazier!  Sometimes I miss the days where I could just lay her down on a blanket and not worry about her going anywhere!  She is into EVERYTHING! She loves to get into the dvd's and she loves opening all the drawers on the entertainment center.  She has got quite the little attitude!  She makes this funny grunting noise whenever she is mad at me.  If I don't feed her fast enough she does it, if I don't come and pick her up she does it and sometimes I think she does it cause she knows we think it's funny!  She is really starting to like baby food.  She has a sweet tooth just like her momma!  She loves ice cream and popsicles.  She still says dada all day long and I can't get her to say mama!  Oh well, I still love my little nut :)

Growing Girl!

My little baby Livi isn't such a little baby anymore!  At her six month check up she weighed 19 pounds 12 ounces and she was 27 inches long (94th percentile in both).  We have had lots of changes around our house, and lots of these changes make me sad because it means she is growing up!  She is now eating baby food, and she loves it!  She has tried bananas, peas, grean beans, carrots and peaches.  She is also starting to use a sippy cup.  Livi now sleeps in her own room and is almost sleeping through the night.  We had to let her cry herself to sleep, which was SO hard but very worth it. She has also learned how to sleep without being swaddled!  This is something we have been trying to get her to do FOREVER, so it's kinda a big deal for us.  Livi's new favorite thing to say is "da da", she says it all day long.  It's super cute, but I'm not gonna lie I'm a little bitter she said da da before mama! She can now sit up on her own, and loves playing with her toys.  She is definitely getting more of a personality, she throws little tantrums when she doesn't get her way, and she is very vocal. I just started giving her a bath in the bath tub instead of the sink, and she loves it.  she is able to move around and splash! She loves this show called yo gaba gaba.....Jose and I make fun of it on a daily basis because it is completely ridiculous, but it keeps her entertained so that's all that matters! She hasn't started crawling yet, but it sure doesn't seem to stop her from getting where she wants to go!  She rolls all over the place! We're a little bit obsessed with her :)
